At Kite Village Sardegna, we’re proud to be the pioneers of kitesurfing in Punta Trettu since 2012. Locally known as “Punta dritta,” this hidden gem was once a quiet fishing spot facing the island of Sant’Antioco. We recognized the unique features of the lagoon — shallow, rock-free water and steady winds — making it ideal for teaching kitesurfing safely and effectively. That’s what inspired us to start a permanent kite school right here in Punta Trettu. What began as a small operation in an old rustic house has grown into Kite Village Sardegna. For 12 years, the heart and soul of KVS has been Pietro Iovinella, who started and continues to lead one of the most renowned kitesurfing schools in Europe.
At Kite Village Sardinia (KVS), we’re more than just a school—we’re an Amateur Sports Club founded in 2012 with a mission to promote physical activity, social interaction, and the love for kitesurfing. As an IKO-affiliated club and FIV center, we offer lessons for all levels – from beginners to experts – with certified instructors who focus on safety and personalized teaching.
Kite Village Sardegna is located directly at the Punta Trettu spot. Our services include: equipment storage, gear washing area, shaded chill-out zones, Wi-Fi, outdoor gym, and a bar/restaurant offering tasty meals and refreshing drinks.
Courses for all levels – from beginners to advanced. Kids’ courses, hydrofoil and wing foil lessons with custom progress plans designed for fast and safe skill development.
